The cast party is for cast and families. The comments I received have been positive for the pizza party prior to the play instead of a party after. If you disagree with that, please post a comment. Mr. and Mrs. Hoagland and Mrs. Kirchhoff have volunteered to help organize the cast party. We should also consider "goodie" bags to give the children after the play. No dessert will be necessary at the pizza party but may be included in the "goodie bag".
Please remember that anything you post will be read by all invitees which include all the parents in both Mrs. Price's class and Mrs. Sherman's class, Mrs. Price, Mrs. Sherman, Mrs. Reed, and Mrs. Gutekunst. Essentially, this is a public forum.
I will be available to help at the party, before and after. I would be thrilled to make the goodie bags..perhaps I could get together with a parent from Mrs Sherman's class.
You and I could coordinate for the post party goody bags. I will be out of town from April 9-20, but we could easily figure it out the week I return. Shawna Brent
Yes. The parties includes families. There are a total of 33 students. We could send out a form to get a head count on total amount of people. The children usually eat about 2 pieces -maybe three- depending on the slice size.
I am happy to help with the cast party, before or after the play. Will bring whatever you want or just contribute money, if you prefer. Do we need fresh fruit? Just let me know. We are out of town April 21-26.
I am also available to help out with the party as needed! Let us know what needs to be contributed. Maybe we could put a pack of seeds in the goody bags so the kids could start their own "gardens" for the spring!
I would like to make a suggestion. Why don't we all just contribute money (maybe $10.00 to $20.00), which would cover the pizza, juice, goodie bag, paper products, snacks, etc. Any leftover money could be used towards whatever is needed for the set or just donated to the kindergarten class. I would be willing to go to Costco some morning with another volunteer to pick up whatever we need.
